Tristream Energy, LLC announced Thursday that Dan McVay has joined the firm in the role of Vice President, Commercial and Business Development. McVay brings 34 years of experience in the midstream energy sector. His specialties include commercial operations, business development and strategic planning.
Immediately prior to joining Tristream Energy, McVay was Senior Vice President for Crosstex Energy where he acted as the division head for the largest contract gas treating business in the industry. Past senior level positions included Warren Petroleum, where he was responsible for gas gathering and processing as well as directing their marine transportation fleet — and Williams where he led the Gulf Coast division including Transco Pipeline's production area supply group. McVay has managed gathering and processing and treating facilities in the Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, and Oklahoma as well as the Barnett and Haynesville Shale areas.

McVay received his BS in civil engineering from the University of Houston. He is a board member of the North Texas Gas Processors Association.
