AMEC Bags North Sea Judy and Jasmine Contract

AMEC received contracts for the detailed engineering and procurement for ConocoPhillips’ existing Judy platform and for the hook-up and commissioning of their new Jasmine facilities in the North Sea. Jasmine, a high-pressure, high-temperature gas-condensate reservoir, will connect to the Judy platform, with first production anticipated to start in the fourth quarter of 2012. The Jasmine field straddles blocks 30/6 and 30/7a in a water depth of 266 feet (81 meters) in the UK sector of the North Sea. ConocoPhillips holds a 36.5% operating interest in the field; Eni holds a 33% interest; and BG Group holds the remaining 30.5% interest.
