NPD Grants Lundin Drilling Permit in License 409

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate granted Lundin a drilling permit for well 16/7-9 using the Transocean Winner semisub. The well, 16/7-9, is located in Production License 409 in a water depth of 256 feet (78 meters). Drilling should take about 41 to 56 days. Lundin operates the license, holding a 70% interest; Bayerngas holds 20%; and Statoil holds the remaining.
