Bridge Energy Completes Decommissioning Ops on Tristan NW



Bridge Energy has decommissioned the Tristan NW field using the ENSCO 92 jackup to plug and abandon two wells. The scope of work involved plugging and abandoning the Tristan NW well and the field’s original discovery well; removing the Tristan NW subsea wellhead, and removing sections of a 6-inch production pipeline and 4-inch control umbilicals. Tristan NW is located on Blocks 49/29b and 49/30d in the UK sector of the North Sea, about 47 miles (76 kilometers) from the east coast of England. Equity of the Tristan NW field is owned by Granby (Tristan) Limited (64.3 %) and the MCX Exploration (UK) Limited (35.7 %) and the field is operated on their behalf by Silverstone Energy Limited.
