Australia's Valmec secures a contract from Vector Gas to supply two gas compressor packages for the latter's project in Auckland, New Zealand.

Vector has been notified by Todd Petroleum Mining Company Limited and Shell Petroleum Mining Limited that under the Kapuni Gas Contract they require that the Original Recoverable Gas Reserves be redetermined.

Vector Limited said that it has been advised that Todd Energy has approached the Commerce Commission of New Zealand with a request that it grant a cease and desist order in relation to contractual concerns about sales of Maui ROFR gas.
