CDS Oil & Gas Group plc has agreed to a farm-in option with Black Rock Oil & Gas plc that gives Black Rock the option to farm-in down to the Carboniferous in the 800,000-hectare Boqueron Concession in northwestern Paraguay.

Gulfsands Petroleum plc on Monday issued an updated reserves study as of December 31, 2006, for its U.S. oil and gas properties.

CDS Oil & Gas Group plc said that it has received revised Prospective Resource valuation studies for two of its prospects in northwest Paraguay: the Emilia Well Area on the Boqueron Block and the Gabino Mendoza Block.

Gulfsands Petroleum plc, which has activities in the U.S., Syria, and Iraq, said that Ryder Scott Co., L.P. has completed an economic evaluation of the probable and possible reserves (unrisked) on the Tigris structure in Block 26, Syria.
