Atwood Oceanics

Atwood Oceanics is positioned for growth. Established in 1968, Atwood has long been a leader in delivering safe, reliable and efficient offshore drilling services to our clients around the world. We currently own eleven drilling rigs that operate in most of the world's leading offshore hydrocarbon basins, and we maintain offices on five continents. We have a multinational workforce of approximately 1,500 people who deliver high-quality offshore drilling services to a diverse set of clients.

We are expanding and transforming our rig fleet by constructing state-of-the-art ultra-deepwater floaters and high-specification jackups that will position us for even greater success. Two of our Pacific Class 400' jackups, the Atwood Mako and Atwood Manta, have recently entered service and will be followed by their sister rig, the Atwood Orca in early 2013. The Atwood Advantage, Atwood Achiever and Atwood Admiral are dynamically-positioned, dual derrick ultra-deepwater drillships rated to operate in water depths up to 12,000' and drill to depths of 40,000'. These vessels will join the Atwood fleet in 2013, 2014 and 2015 respectively.

We have embodied our Company values and beliefs in Our Guiding Principles, developed exclusively by our employees. These statements describe our people, mission and the five key values that govern how we operate: Safety and Environmental Stewardship, Client Satisfaction, Employee Focus, Value Creation and Integrity and Respect. Together, they define our commitment to excellence and to doing things the right way.

Operating for over 40 years, Atwood has established itself as a premier offshore drilling contractor. Our reputation for providing safe and quality drilling services, coupled with our ambitious fleet expansion and transformation program, enables a very bright future. Atwood Oceanics, Inc. is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and our shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ATW.
