Talisman Energy Inc. is the largest Canadian based independent oil and gas producer. Talismanís main business activities include exploration, development, production and marketing of crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. The Companyís main operating areas are Canada, the North Sea, Indonesia and Sudan. Each of Talismanís core areas has substantial exploration and development potential which we expect will provide future growth. The Company is also pursuing a select number of high potential exploration projects in these areas in addition to ventures in Algeria and Trinidad.

Over the past five years, Talisman has increased production at an average annual growth rate of 30%. Talisman has a proven track record of successful exploration and development, supported by strategic acquisitions. The Company has consistently increased its reserve base, while maintaining competitive finding and development costs.
