Odyssey Petroleum completed the J. Cox 18-10 #1 well in Pelahatchie field in a Rodessa Formation zone at 10,140 feet, with swab test at rates up to twelve barrels of oil per hour with little formation water.

Odyssey Petroleum Corp. reports that the J. Cox 18-10 #1 well has been successfully drilled to 11,500 ft. and logged in Pelahatchie field.

Odyssey Petroleum Corp. has drilled the Harold Karges 18-7 #1 well located in Section 18 of Pelahatchie Field, Rankin County, Mississippi to a total depth of 11,500 ft.

Odyssey Petroleum Corp. reported that the drilling of the Harold Karges 18-7 #1 in Pelahatchie Field, Rankin County, Mississippi is progressing well.

The Company and other working interest participants will acquire a combined 50% working interest in the new well, while Odyssey will complete the well for production and serve as Operator.

Having reached contracted total depth of 11,500 ft., the Company ran evaluation logs, took sidewall cores, and immediately made the decision to run production casing in the well.

The drill rig has reached a depth of 10,214 feet, and is coming out of the hole to make a final bit change prior to continuing to drill to the targeted depth of 11,500 feet.

Odyssey Petroleum Corp. has received notice that Energy Drilling Company will provide a drilling rig to Odyssey in mid January 2008 with which to drill the Company's Max and Martha Gill well #1 in Pelahatchie Field, Rankin County, Mississippi.

Odyssey Petroleum has moved the drilling rig off location and moved a workover rig on the Karges 1A well in order to bring the well into production.

Odyssey Petroleum ran Baker Atlas evaluation logs and took sidewall core samples in the Harold Karges 18-13 1A well and confirmed the presence of numerous hydrocarbon filled zones (gas and/or oil) in the well.

Odyssey Petroleum reports that the drilling of the Harold Karges 18 -13 1A was completed to the total targeted depth of 11,500 feet.

Odyssey Petroleum said that the Harold Karges 18-13 1A is on schedule and has reached a depth of 10,186 feet.

Odyssey Petroleum says that its four well re-entry program at Verba Field, Jasper County, Mississippi is proceeding well.
