Anzon Underscores Merger Ratio for ROC Oil Shares
Anzon reported the AEL shareholders and AEL depository interest holders will receive 1.32 ROC Oil Company shares for every AEL Share held. The Merger Ratio was determined on September 18, following the confirmation of the Net Cash position of AEL.

ROC Gets Court Approval to Merge with Anzon
The Court approved the Scheme of Arrangement to implement the merger of ROC with Anzon Energy Limited (AEL). AEL shareholders overwhelmingly approved the Scheme at a meeting on 3 September 2008, with 99.92% of the vote in favor of the merger.

Anzon obtained from ASIC a modification of the Corporations Act 2001 so that the time by which Anzon Australia is required to print and despatch its Target's Statement to its shareholders has been extended from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8, 2008.

The Basker Manta Gummy (BMG) Joint Venture has announced its intent to move forward on a major expansion of its Oil & Gas Development in the Gippsland Basin (Vic L26, L27 and L 28). The JV signed two LOIs for an FPSO and the rig Songa Venus.
