ATP Pumps First Oil at GOM Well

ATP O&G has commenced production at its Mississippi Canyon Block 941 No. 3 well on the Mirage field in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The well, the second one brought on production at the Telemark Hub, is flowing at a rate of 7,000 boepd. When drilled, the well encountered four Miocene sands totaling 266 feet (81 meters) of pay, and it completed at a measured depth of 16,300 feet (4,968 meters) in two of the discovered sands.
