Energas announced that drilling has begun on the Lake Devore Prospect, Colorado. The well was spudded yesterday evening, and it is expected to take approximately 10 days to reach the target depth.

This 1280 acre prospect lies within a complex of Morrow oil fields known as the Stateline Trend along the Colorado – Kansas border. The well is designed to test the Morrow formation at a depth of 5,200'. Further announcements will be forthcoming.
