CNOOC Turns on Taps in Bohai Bay

CNOOC has commenced production at the BZ 29-4 oil field in the Bohai Bay. The field's development and production operation will rely mainly on the facilities of the producing field, BZ 28-2S. BZ 29-4 is projected to reach a daily peak production rate of 7,800 within 2010. The oil field, located in a water depth of 72 feet (22 meters) in the south part of the Bohai Bay, is wholly owned and operated by CNOOC.
