J P Kenny Wins Julimar FEED Contract

J P Kenny will carry out front end-engineering design (FEED) for the subsea development of the Julimar Development Project. The FEED contract includes up to 18 subsea wells, plus subsea completions, tied-back to the Wheatstone Central Processing Platform. The FEED will produce defined solutions for the subsea systems and the 56 miles (90 kilometers) of flowlines involved in the development. The field's development consists of three gas-condensate fields, Julimar, Brunello and Grange, in water depths ranging up to 820 feet (250 meters). Julimar's first phase of development should be completed by October 2010, with the second FEED phase completed in June 2011. Julimar is situated offshore Australia in WA-356-P in 614 feet (187 meters) of water. Apache serves as the operator, holding a 65% interest; Kufpec holds the remaining interest.
