Statoil received consent to use the Transocean Polar Pioneer semisub to perform well intervention on the Fram well, 35/11-B-23, in PL 090. The development of the field includes two subsea templates connected to the Troll C platform, which will separate gas from the liquid and inject it back into the Fram Vest reservoir. Fram is located in the northern part of the North Sea in a water depth of 1,165 feet (355 meters), about 12 miles (20 kilometers) north of Troll.
