C & C Completes Perdido Jumper Surveys

C & C Technologies, Inc. (C & C) has completed metrology services for the Perdido oil and gas export line tie-in jumpers.

C & C's Marine Construction Division provided both the offshore acoustic metrology measurements and the dimensional control performed in the fabrication yard.

C & C utilized Sonardyne MK-V Wideband Compatts, which use advanced digital signaling techniques to improve the performance and stability of the acoustic metrology system. The oil jumper measured approximately 183 feet, making this one of the longest jumper metrology projects ever executed.

This marks the sixty-second metrology project performed by C & C in the deepwater of the Gulf of Mexico since June 2007.
