Marathon Hires KBR for Ozona Feasibility Study
Granherne is a leading front-end engineering consultancy for onshore, offshore and deepwater oil and gas development and has experience on over 3,000 projects in more than 20 countries. The company has provided services for more than 100 subsea developments, including step out expansions, marginal fields and major subsea projects.
"This award demonstrates KBR and Granherne's commitment to subsea development and to our customer base in the Gulf of Mexico," said Clive Vaughan, Managing Director, Granherne. "We look forward to working with Marathon Oil on this project, while showcasing our expertise in subsea systems development work."
Work is already in progress and is expected to be completed by October 2007. Successful conclusion of this initial phase could result in additional funding to provide pre-FEED, FEED and support for the execution stage.
