Hamworthy Wins Goliat FPSO Order

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) awarded Hamworthy a contract to supply an inert gas generator system for the Goliat FPSO. HHI has an engineering, procurement and construction contract with Eni Norge, operator of the Goliat field.

The IGS plant is being manufactured and tested at Hamworthy’s site in Moss with delivery expected in early 2012. The Goliat FPSO will have a production capacity of around 110,000 bopd, gas processing capacity of almost 4 MMcf/d and an oil storage capacity of 1 MMbbl of oil.

The Goliat development is located on Production Licenses 229 and 229B in waters measuring 1,312 feet (400 meters) deep in the Barents Sea.
