ATP Wraps Up Ops at Telemark Hub
ATP has completed drilling the A-2 well in deepwater Mississippi Canyon Block 941 at the Telemark Hub. The company says the pay sands in the well have confirmed pre-drill estimates.
ATP plans to run casing to total depth, install temporary barriers to permit removal of the drilling riser and to install a production riser. Tie-back of the production casing to the surface, perforating and completing the initial production zones are to follow. Production tubing and a subsea tree installation will occur prior to testing and initialization of production.
First production from this well is expected in 3Q11. The ATP Titan is located in Mississippi Canyon 941 in the Gulf of Mexico. ATP wholly owns and operates the project.
