Harvest Natural Resources has spud exploratory well Ruche Marin-A offshore Gabon, West Africa. The exploration well is being drilled by Transocean’s Sedneth 701 semisub in a water depth of 380 feet (116 meters).
The well is testing multiple stacked pre-salt targets to a planned total measured depth of nearly 10,100 feet (3,078 meters). Drilling is anticipated to last 28 days.
