There are many types of subsea loads; tension, lateral movements etc. but whatever the nature of the load and however it’s created, being able to accurately measure it is a valuable and usually vital tool that makes the workplace safer and the project go smoother. The main problem, however, is not measuring the load but transferring the data reliably to the surface.
