Job Description:

Partnering with our client, we are currently searching for a I&E Construction Rep.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides visible leadership and commitment to health, environment and safety. Positively recognizes strong HES behaviors and performance. Ensures construction work activities are completed in accordance with recognized standards and/or PXP and statutory requirements
  • Liaises with engineering and construction personnel to ensure operational concerns and requirements are addressed in project design.
  • Participates in prioritization of project work activities to reflect project and base operations priorities. Plans, schedules and assigns work to construction crews and personnel.
  • Act as company field representative during construction work to liaison between engineers and construction crews. Interpret drawings and specifications. Evaluate, monitor and report daily progress. Reviews and signs daily work tickets, shipping manifests, and permits. Ensures compliance in obtaining routine permits such as general, hot work, and entry, etc.
  • Assists operational personnel in commissioning, start up and optimization of facilities. Assists in the development of tie in and start up plans with contractors, operations and maintenance
  • Requisition material and equipment as required for projects and daily work activities. Leads the search for surplus equipment for use.
  • Monitor the work site to evaluate overall construction progress with regard to schedule and costs, adherence to job requirements, customers' satisfaction and safety performance

Essentials:

  • Experience with over head power line projects
  • Individual will need his own vehicle, cell phone and lap top
  • Possibly a California licensed Electrician
