Job Description:
|
 Summary: Responsible for installing, servicing and repairing electrical equipment with hand tools,
test equipment, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications in a timely, accurate manner by
performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Run wire in an electrical panel.
2. Installs, diagnoses, services and repairs electrical equipment.
3. Applies knowledge and ability to use hand tools and operate test equipment such as test
meters, wattmeters, ammeters, voltmeters or ohmmeters according to established
procedures; has the ability to use any power tools associated with shop fabrication.
4. Reads and understands wiring diagrams/ electrical schematics to trace electrical circuits
and ensures proper operation according to manufacturer's specifications.
5. Replaces worn or defective parts such as switches, pumps, motors, bearings,
transmissions, belts, gears, heating elements and defective wiring.
6. Works under limited supervision; Maintains appropriate communication with the
office/management to ensure efficient and timely service.
7. Completes and submits service documentation each day with the relevant service/billing
information.
8. Work safely and follow all safety guidelines.
9. Assist in loading and unloading equipment when needed.
