Important information about this position: REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a contract to direct position located in Monrovia, California -  Local candidates preferred.
  • 0-10% Travel
  • BSME or MSME REQUIRED
  • 4-10 years experience in the petroleum/petrochemical engineering industry in either plant operations or consulting engineering environments
  • P.E. Registration is highly preferred
  • Knowledgeable in ASME Pressure Vessel Code and design software such as COMPRESS
  • Fluency in Microsoft software programs is required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills a must

Overview:

Our Client is a leading provider of professional services to the resources & energy sectors and complex process industries.  The Latin America/Caribbean region has an immediate opening for Pressure Vessel Principal Engineer to work in a project team environment to execute project conceptual design, engineering and construction projects with emphasis and specialization in Pressure Vessel Engineering.  Specify pressure vessels, reactors, and tank equipment to achieve minimal cost as well as limit field problems and change orders.  Be able to design vessels and reactors using office programs and national or international codes.  Review supplier data, participate in client/supplier engineering meetings and reviews.  Take active responsibility for schedules and budgets.  Observe and follow site safety and quality guides.
