Role Description





Under general supervision, may tear down, relocate and set up modular and or conventional furniture and equipment.





Responsibilities








    Protects the furniture and work site from damage during installation/relocation.


    Performs preventive maintenance as well as general maintenance on furniture and equipment.


    Assists with inventory control through completion of standard procedures such as parts requests, and repair schedules.


    May perform minimum plumbing, electrical, and or mechanical maintenance on building and fixtures.


    Uses a wide variety of hand and power tools. Handles special projects, as assigned.








Experience and Skills required








    Ability to repair and maintain an administrative facility.


    Light analytical skills.


    High School Diploma or equivalent. 4+ years experience


    5+ yrs experience in Building Automation Controls        


    5+ yrs HVAC and Refrigeration skills


    General maintenance skills should also include:  





o    electrical and plumbing


o    testing of elevator fire recall on monthly basis


o    monitor lab hood operations


o    monitor water treatment in HVAC system


o    keep up with all city and state inspections: elevators, fire systems including main fire panel system, computer room FM 200 & dry pipe system, fire risers, grease traps and boilers
