Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect drilling equipment and other in-process machining of tools and incoming material.
- Oversee the preparation and completion of all job packets.
- Assist on audits of the Quality Management System as per company documented procedures.
- Compile audit reports and CARs for the internal audit schedule.
- Use, maintain, and assist in calibration of all measuring equipment.
- Complete all required documentation for products being inspected.
- The work will involve manual inspection of drill pipe and drill stem components.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years experience as a QC/QA oilfield industry inspector.
- Basic knowledge of application and calibration of gauges and precision measuring equipment applicable to inspection of oil and gas drilling tools.
- Knowledgeable of Quality Management Systems with experience in the Quality Assurance industry.
- Must be knowledgeable of quality specifications including API Spec. Q1 and API Spec. 7 standards.
