Role Description
To assemble, torque and pressure test downhole completion equipment, while conforming to all safety and quality objectives. To actively participate in all department training
Communicating with Workshop Supervisor and Operations groups ensuring that customer requirements/deadlines are met in a timely manner
Responsibilities
Coordinates the work efforts to perform assembly from components per assembly drawings/bill of material. Oversees functional testing on assemblies. Ensures test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria. Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Monitors and applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Desire to lead others in work efforts. Good mechanical background
Experience and Skills required
· Proficient in the use of forklifts and other departmental equipment, machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly. High School Diploma or equivalent diploma. 3+ years experience. Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.
· Background of experience in working with downhole completion equipment
· Good experience of torque machine operations essential
· Experienced in identification and inspection of all threads
· Experience of pressure testing desirable
· Thorough mechanical/technical background essential
· Knowledge of Baker Oil Tools downhole Completion equipment preferred Materials handling course/seminar certificate preferred
