Job Description:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER required by our client, an International Oil and Gas Operator, to be located in USA or Denmark.

POSITION SCOPE
  
Business Development Manager should act as a key resource in the identification and execution of New Business projects for the assigned geographical area. Duties will include identifying, screening and managing acquisition projects and building relationships with counterparts in target and competitor organisations in these countries. This will require collaboration across the organization to promote business opportunities, to coordinate efforts by integrated teams during project evaluations, and to prepare investment proposals.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and screen new business opportunities and promote those to NB management through Opportunity Summaries
  • Build client relationships with target and competitor organisations operating in the appropriate areas of the world and ensure sharing of competitor intelligence
  • Manage New Business projects (including acquisitions) as required
  • Support country entry projects as required
  • Coordinate activities with New Business teams located in other Client offices through regular phone conferences and meetings
  • Collaborate with Houston and other Corganizations within our Client's organization to identify appropriate technical and support staff for active projects and ensure project execution in accordance with Client processes
  • Prepare Investment Proposals for projects that meet our Client's investment criteria and growth strategy

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Engineering with an MBA
  • Strong background in Business Development
  • Broad international experience in project management
  • Strong business and analytical skills
  • Skillful negotiator with well developed listening skills
