Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience with CATŪ or similar product in diesel or gas engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components or working experience in engine performance, engine repairs and engine electrical/electronics
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Meet position specific physical requirements
- Current CDL and a safe driving record required
- Ability to work various schedules, except on designated days off or vacation
- Ability to travel with some extended overnight stay
- CaterpillarŪ certifications a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and makes critical machine and engine repairs and adjustments
- Applies failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis of machinery, equipment, or engines
- Tests and verifies correct operation of all repairs and adjustments
- Installs, assembles/disassembles parts and components
- Handles and completes work orders, job orders, and various paper work through multiple computerized systems
- Works daily with customers and team members to perform repair and technical services
