Product Application Specialist- US Land - Baker Oil Tools
Overview
Baker Oil Tools has an immediate opening for a Product Application Specialist in our North America Sales organization. This position is based in north Houston, Tx.. The purpose of the position is to support sales in designing well completions within a product line of expertise to fit and meet the customer requirements.
Position Description / EXPECTATION
Advises sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues that affect the installation or sales of products and/or services of the organization
Provides support to operations and manufacturing
Assists sales personnel in the preparation of bids (quotes) drawings, well bore and tool information
May meet with both internal and external customers to develop and design products and services *(May require occasional travel to Districts)
May help train customers and/or field personnel on new products
Handles special projects, as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
3+ years relevant experience in Operations or Engineer environment
Exposure to field operations or sales are a plus
Ability to specify equipment, tools, and commodity numbers in Frac Point product line
General knowledge of concepts in area of responsibility
Ability to identify problems and manage projects
Ability to set up Frac-Point workbooks, tools, quotes, and drawings.
Technical expertise in the Cased Hole Completions product line is a plus
Ability to create innovative approaches to problems
Ability to effectively transfer technology and design options to sales with verbal and written communication
Proficiency with Microsoft office and SAP are a plus .
