Baker Hughes has an immediate opening for a Director, Intelligent Reservoir Systems.

Responsibilities:
Possesses in-depth technical know-how to develop an overall solution for Intelligent Reservoir System that integrates the reservoir knowledge of RDS and Intelligent Well Systems (IWS) in providing the leading technically advanced, value adding production optimization products and services that help operators accelerate production, increase ultimate recovery and reduce total cost of ownership via the utilization of BHI tools and technology from all product lines as deemed necessary
Focus in developing a world class intelligent reservoir optimization system that will enable operators to collect and monitor downhole data, remotely control reservoir zones and optimize reservoir efficiency and recovery factor leading to increased asset value. Additional services to consider is provide onsite presence to operate and support the optimization process and system.
Ability to identify key gaps in tools and technology to address the above goals.
Familiarity with tools and techniques that are used to address development of Intelligent Reservoirs / plays is the US and international markets.
Acts as consulting expert for geomarkets providing advice focused on the life cycle of Intelligent Reservoirs and the associated value chain
Partners with geomarket marketing and sales staff to ensure that the customers' technical needs are clearly understood and defined in order to prepare an effective solution
Collaborate with each of the product lines to define a cohesive solution and service offering for the customer by analyzing the customer's needs, reservoir, and production outlook.
Provide technical selling support and recommendations for key field applications of the solution.
Help identify new opportunities and development strategies.
Project economics is central to any Intelligent Reservoir System placement and operations and addressing the issue with fit-for-purpose tools and technology will be very important.
Will be the owner of the owner of the Intelligent Reservoir Theme and associated Solutions.

Experience:
Minimum 15 years of upstream experience, preferably with operator experience
Broad knowledge of downhole tools and technologies and be cognizant of the impact of surface facilities as applied to Intelligent Reservoir deployment and operations.
Fluent in technical challenges associated with field development optimization in general with special emphasis on the additional requirements of the impact on Intelligent Reservoir on Reservoir recovery factor. Background in reservoir, production and completions is highly desirable
Demonstrated career progression in field of expertise
Bachelors degree required, post graduate degrees preferred
