• Develop pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers including quality levels, lead times, vendor inventory levels and freight costs for new and current products. Accurately analyze pricing terms and conditions. Review contracts for commercial terms and review legal obligations with Weatherford's legal team.
  
• Work with various Weatherford sites and businesses to evaluate the capabilities of new and existing suppliers regarding Quality levels, Financial stability and Reliability.
  
• Initiate projects with key stakeholders at the sites and the suppliers to develop continuous total cost improvements on purchased Indirect Services and Products.
  
• Work with peers in other Weatherford North and South America and Canadian locations to develop consolidated contracts to ensure the optimization of our buy.
  
• Manage a category of products ensuring contracts are maintained and stakeholders are communicated with. Utilize tools available to manage supplier performance and Weatherford's adherence to contracts.
  
• Identify and implement activities to ensure that Weatherford purchasing practices within the commodities assigned are contemporary.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers across Weatherford to ensure Cost and Service Improvement opportunities are identified and acted on.
  
• Some travel both domestically and overseas.
  
• Other duties as they are assigned.

• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
  

• BBA degree preferred with emphasis in business administration, economics, and/or engineering with five (5) years of progressive experience purchasing products and services for a large multinational company.
  
• Personal computer skills, mainframe operations as it relates to procurement, related software, and knowledge of purchasing/accounting processes required.  
  
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skill set.
