Description

Troubleshoots, tests, and assembles electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies. Assists in configuring, preparing, maintaining, utilizing, and or designing test stations and test equipment. Performs test with instructions and documentation. May do light assembly of electronic components, wiring harnesses, connectors, and mechanical assemblies. May prepare basic documentation and prototype assembly.Working knowledge of electro/mechanical components.

Requirements

General knowledge of digital/analog circuit theory. Skills on soldering and assembling of electronic components. Ability to perform component level troubleshooting. Proficient in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other basic instruments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, electronic schematics, and parts lists.High School Diploma or equivalent. AA degree or military training in electronics or related field preferred. 3+ years experience as an electronic technician.
