Job Description:

Baker Hughes currently has an immediate need for an IT Business Process Analyst. The position can be based in Houston, Texas or Celle Germany.

Responsibilities:
    
    Designing, specifying, implementing, and maintaining automated and manual processes in support of business needs and/or corporate strategy
    Coordinating process design or re-engineering in conjunction with utilizing internal project management methodology
    Acting as liaison between division implementation teams, division process owners, and implementation sites while eliciting requirements for process improvement
    Working with customers to understand their business processes and needs while managing expectations within the scope of existing business strategies
    Building and managing business cases to justify projects that fall within scope
    Researching and understanding constituents' business model and processes in order to build appropriate requirements specifications, use cases and solutions
    Effectively managing the execution of assessment, solution development and proof of concept efforts
    Clearly communicating in oral and in written communication; leveraging effective listening skills, responding in a timely manner and keeping others informed
    Inspiring customer confidence through professional presence, self-confidence, execution, delivery and industry experience
    May assume leadership role within a small group/project    
    Handle special projects as assigned
    
Skill Requirements:

    Requirements elicitation, meeting facilitation, and project management
    Competent skills with Microsoft Office Products, Internet Explorer, Windows XP, MS Word, and MS Excel
    Excellent customer service, verbal, and written
    Broad knowledge of business process design communication skills
    Professional demeanor and be team oriented

Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business or a Technical degree (Engineering preferred) and 2+ year related experience, OR 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
    CBAP Certification preferred
