Petrophysicist

Job description:

    Plans and conducts research, develops and executes phases of larger project or a total project of moderate complexity.


     Work in an R&D environment with scientists and engineers from multiple disciplines on projects in the area of formation evaluation methodology, data processing, modeling, and perforation science.


    May participate in vendor and client interface.


    May involve project planning, project management, and peer reviewing progresses.


    May work closely with sales to help support customer.


    Operates with some latitude in making autonomous decisions.


Skills/knowledge:

    Handles special projects, as assigned.


    Ability to resolve complex problems with broad scope.


    Advanced analytical skills.


    Ability to communicate well individually and in team environment.


    Advanced knowledge of petrophysics and geology.


Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Science with 8+ years experience or Master's Degree in Science with 5+ years experience.
