• Ensure drilling procedures are followed as planned and conducted in an optimum manner
  
• Responsible for health and safety procedures being continuously enforces and makes capable decision in emergency situations to prevent well catastrophes as well as significant additional costs
  
• Responsible for implementation of OIMS on the rig. Insure that operations are consistent with OIMS and comply with Drilling OIMS Manual
  
• Coordinate with well site geologist to ensure logging, coring and production testing are performed as planned
  
• Ensures potential pollution control problems are considered and rig and third party personnel understand relative contingency plans
  
• In coordination with onsite technical personnel, responsible for abnormal pressure techniques being properly utilized and mud  characteristics being maintained for maximum safety and efficient drilling
  
• Ensures accurate and adequate reports and records are kept regarding operations equipment and evaluations
  
• Competent in deepwater operations and subsea equipment
  
• Prior supervision and directing large multidiscipline groups supporting offshore operations and projects
  
• Need to have current SubSea Well Control, BOSIET training and UKOOA medical Certificate
  
• Incident Root Cause analysis - Coil tubing intervention and workover/completion experience also desirable
  
• North Sea Semi experience a plus
  

• Position requires minimum 10 years diversified international offshore experience with a minimum 5 years semi-submersible drilling, production/completion, project management, and contracts
  
• 5 years prior experience working for a major Operator or Drilling Contractor as a Toolpusher or Drilling Supervisor
  
• Must hold current certification for Offshore Survival and International Subsea Well Control
