About the Construction Manager Position
Reporting to the Project Manager, the primary role of this position will be to manage the Owner's site team in a shipyard for the construction of an offshore vessel. Interface with outside contractors and vendors. Interface with classification and regulatory bodies. Interface with the shipyard project management team.
Experience Required:
BS Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years experience. A strong construction background managing shipyard operations. Sound management skills and sound decision making capability in dealing with all fabrication issues during the fabrication of a floating vessel. You must be willing to work in foreign countries.
