About the Superintendent Position:
Overall management and supervision of project related construction activities. Enforcement of Company policies, statutory rules and regulations, local rules and regulations (regarding all construction activities, construction personnel and sub-contractors). Enforcement of Client's requirements regarding safety en environmental protection. Motivation of the construction crew in observation of these policies, rules and regulations. Issuance of appropriate orders in a clear and simple manner. Ensuring all construction activities are properly controlled, supervised and executed. The activities of the Field Engineers: Issuing of non-conformances, site queries - concession request to client; for disciplinary matters relating to construction personnel; termination of the construction operations for safety or other reasons; and liaising with the client's representative on contractual and operational matters. Further tasks as described in the Marine Safety Manual - section 3.
Requirements
You MUST be a US Citizen or a permanent resident of the United States. You MUST have pipelay or DP vessel experience. Minimum 3 years experience as Superintendent, Barge Foreman, Master or Chief Engineer on a pipe lay vessel. Excellent management skills. Fluent in verbal/written English. Computer literate. Completion of external safety/trade training as per Company's training matrix.
Required Safety / Trade Certifications:
• Valid Passport
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential
• Safe Gulf / Rig Pass Training
• HUET
