Job Description:
This Alaska Facilities Engineering contract position will be responsible for supporting both Asset Development and Operations in oil and gas production for the Cook Inlet assets; which include 10 offshore platforms and associated onshore processing facilities, and onshore oil and gas fields in the Cook Inlet area.  These assets are operated in a complex regulatory and compliance environment and require working closely with the HES, Production Operations, Base Business, and Asset Development teams.

This position will be based in our Anchorage office, but will require regular travel to field locations via automobile, small commuter planes, and via helicopters to offshore facilities.

Facilities Engineering Technical skills: Position requires technical skills in facilities engineering for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities -- including oil, water, and gas separation; gas dehydration; gas compression and measurement; system modeling; and optimization.  PE, ChE, ME, or EE degree/discipline required.

Operational Experience:  Position requires demonstrates hands-on practical understanding of oilfield operations, optimization, debottlenecking, and maintenance.  Previous offshore engineering experience is preferred, preferably in our Alaska environment.

Candidates with demonstrated experience in Safety-in-designs, Management Of Change, Pre Start-up Safety Reviews, Safe Work Practices, and experience with formal processes to assess safety and environmental risks, and then implementing solutions.   Position will engage in Contractor Safety and Construction safety management.   Knowledge of applicable construction codes and regulations is very important.  Demonstrated, commitment to Incident Free Operations thru Behavior Based Safety, Think Incident Free, and Job Safety Analysis.

Knowledge of CPDEP and CSOC processes and tools is preferred, but willingness to learn and adopt these practices is required.  Candidates must have experience in project development, execution, and capital/expense management.
