Job Description:
A leading Geophysical Exploration company is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Vice President Geophysical Technology. This is a staff position with coordination responsibility for technical issues.

Main Job Responsibilities include:

  • Technical marketing
  • Technical sales support
  • Work closely with oil companies to promote and support high-end services in the region.
  • Wide and Multi Azimuth
  • Geostreamer
  • HD3D and HD4D
  • Integrated Acquisition and Processing solutions
  • Act as a link between DPT and the regional marine business unit
  • Write and deliver technical papers for trade journals and conferences (SEG, EAGE, etc.)
  • Organize and participate in technical road-shows across the region
  • Play an active role in industry trade shows
  • Coordinate with other regional Technology VPs and Chief Geophysicist to ensure global alignment of technical marketing and technology focus.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in geophysics, or related field of study
  • A minimum of 15 years geophysical industry experience
