Change Internationals client, a leading offshore services provider to the Oil & Gas sector globally currently require a Master to join their new build liftboat, which is operating in West Africa on a long term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a state of the art and unique installation with long term career prospects.
As Master you will be primarily responsible for the positioning of the vessel at various offshore sites in West Africa. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all operations within the Control room
- Testing all Marine equipment before positioning the rig on site
- Navigation of the vessel
- Ensuring that company HSE policies are adhered to at all times
- Overseeing construction/lifting operations
- Responsible for the jacking of the vessel and preloading to ensure stability
- Providing company inductions to new starts on the vessel
- Meeting with the client to discuss operations and plans.
Requirements:
- Masters Unlimited COC
- Experience as Master on board a lift boat, heavy lift, or construction vessel
- Able to work to a 2 months on / 2 months off rotation
- Able to work in Nigeria
Salary: 118K USD Per anum / $650 USD per day
