Based in Denver, Colorado the Vice President will report directly to the President, Calfrac Corp. With full P & L responsibility for the operations side of our business, this role requires an exceptional leader that creates a vision, has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to grow the business and improve HSE and customer service performance.

Education and Related Experience

  • An outstanding track record of leadership and performance within the Industry;
  • Oil and Gas service sector experience combined with general business and financial education; and
  • Minimum 20 years of experience with an established record of success in increasingly responsible management positions and at least 3 years in a senior operations management role.

Strategic Thinking and Planning

  • Lead the development and subsequent execution of the operations long-term strategic plan, business plan and budgets;
  • Responsible for setting the direction growth plans, customer diversification, exceptional service quality and creating an environment of continuous improvement; and

Leadership & People Excellence

  • Provide leadership through our guiding principles (vision, mission, values) and in turn, ensuring guidance of the day-to-day decisions and actions of the team;
  • Establish a vision, gain support and inspire a team to achieve the corporate goals;
  • Develop and retain high performing teams at all levels within operations, challenging those within the team to embrace change, think and work creatively, and hold themselves to an exceptional standard of service excellence; and
  • Embrace the People Strategy that is in place, ensuring each leader is doing their part to create an environment where the company attracts and retains the best in the business.

Operational Oversight

  • Set performance metrics and targets that will drive the business success and achieve aggressive growth and service targets;
  • Identify and lead opportunities to partner with other divisions to drive synergy and collective success; and
  • Ensure the Company's Core Values, Environment and Safety of employees and customers is always priority and engrained in the culture.

Results Orientation

  • Plan effectively to meet financial commitments; and
  • Where necessary, deploy early, preventative actions to maintain course against performance and financial deliverables.

Corporate and Organizational Alignment

  • Ensure alignment of our operational infrastructure and framework in support of the entire business;
  • Partner with President and other peers across the organization to ensure consistency and high performance; and
  • Ensure partnerships with other divisions contribute to seamless service delivery for customers and job enrichment opportunities for employees.

  • Instill confidence and lead change in support of the business as the organization  continues to grow and mature in size, scope and business processes; and
  • Drive growth, facilitate change and define culture, while at the same time providing stability.

Communication

  • Promote a culture and environment that encourages feedback and input;
  • Deliver appropriate messages to a variety of audiences, through a diversity of venues;
  • Ensure that effective communication is achieved by delivering key messages throughout the company; and
  • Ensure all key messages are delivered to the appropriate audiences, both internal and external.
