Helix Corporate Human Resources has a need for a dynamic and talented QMED / Oiler located offshore on our state-of-the-art DPII vessels. About the QMED / Oiler Position Execution of watch keeping duties on deck or in the engine room. Maintenance of deck and / or engine room equipment oil levels. Maintaining clean work areas and equipment, clean machinery areas under the control of the Watchkeeping Engineer. Assisting Engineers and Deck Engineer (where carried) during repairs and maintenance of equipment. Performing other mechanical duties as directed by the Watchkeeping Engineer. Performing emergency duties in accordance with the vessel's Muster List / Station Bill. Ensuring that his daily activities and the activities of other crew members are carried out in a safe and healthy manner and that the impact of such activities on the environment is within acceptable limits. Requirements
  • You MUST be a US Citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.
  • Merchant mariners' Document endorsed as OS/Wiper.
  • STCW 95.
  • Minimum (1) year experience as OS/Wiper.
  • Preferably experience served onboard DP vessel.
  • Fluent verbal and written English.
  • Computer literate.
