The Technology & International Department works closely with upstream oil and gas organizations to address their individual needs. This team works to create customizable programs to address these needs through the development of hands-on training programs to improve worker skills, meet training needs in an international market and provide accessible training to Enform's widely dispersed student population.
As a member of the Technology and International Department, the Drilling and Well Control Program Manager will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in the areas of drilling and general rig operations to assist Enform with creating and delivering course content to Enform's partner associations, companies and students. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for new course and content and marketing Enform's products and services to industry and surrounding communities.
•Manage existing program offerings including class and instructor scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting
•Be responsive to any issues identified and liaise with instructors and students to find solutions
•Responsible for providing customers with quotes for in house and offsite training
•Update and maintain course content for delivery to students
•Be the technical expert in the areas of drilling and well control to ensure it stays current with industry needs and standards
•Other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Post-secondary education or Rig Technician Certificate
•10 + years' experience on drilling rigs with increasing responsibility
•Experience or education related to Adult Learning and/or Education is considered an asset
•Experience working in a supervisory role is required
•Some experience working in a project management role with budgetary responsibilities
•Detail oriented and committed to accuracy
•Exemplary interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
•Strong facilitation and consensus building skills - demonstrates diplomacy and tact
