Job Description:

Assigned to one or more major component Suppliers/Contractors, the Global Agreement Assigned Planner (GAAP), also known as Site Planner, develops initial template schedules with input from Suppliers/Contractors and GSH Functional Leads. He/she continues the schedule development to incorporate ongoing scope changes, and at agreed schedule update interval, routinely interfaces with the Project Assigned Delivery Planner to assist with data receipt from Suppliers/Contractors, and with subsequent schedule data transfer between GSH and Project Teams.

Key responsibilities:

The following experience/qualification is required as a minimum:

  • Engineering or Project Management degree, or appropriate experience in this type of equipment supply
  • Experienced (10 years) in Primavera & MS Project software
  • Provides coordination of schedule data receipt and transfer in conjunction with GSH Planning & Scheduling Functional Lead
  • Prepares template schedules and template reports associated with relevant Suppliers/Contractors
  • Conducts schedule data validation (P6 and progress status) on Suppliers/Contractors schedules prior to transmission to Project Assigned Delivery Planner
  • Facilitates the production by Supplier and review of the Schedule Variance Report
  • Works with Site Team to validate the schedule update (progress measurement validation) including:
  • Detailed schedule forecast review
  • Schedule Variance Report review
  • Sub-supplier interface and delivery impacts
  • Documentation status
  • MOC status
  • Inclusion in Suppliers Monthly Report
  • Client supplied data/material impacts
  • Client QA interfaces
  • Suppliers Monthly Report Content:
  • Forecast vs. Baseline
  • Physical Progress
  • Remaining Duration
  • Expected Finish Dates
  • Float
  • Key Dates Variance
  • Prepares following schedule data in conjunction with Supplier in detailed form for GSH internal review, and in summarized form for onward passage to Project Team through the Project Assigned Delivery Planner
  • Progress Curve & Table
  • P6 Schedule
  • Variance Report (ideally in P6 format)
  • Prepares appropriate content for GSH Monthly Performance Reports (e.g. Milestones and Progress status)
  • Supports GSH Site Team in supply of required schedule data from Suppliers/Contractors
  • Reviews Supplier Schedule Basis Document
  • Provides support and feedback in the development of GSH Project Services processes and procedures through GSH Planning & Scheduling Functional Lead
  • Experienced (10 years) in oil & gas, or interface planning on large scale complex projects
  • Experienced (10 years) in project control on major projects
