We are currently seeking a Senior Electrician for the Refinery & NGL Fractionation Administration Area. This position will be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Minimum Requirements As the successful candidate, you will have experience in maintenance of industrial hydrocarbon processing units specifically in electrical equipment and devices for at least 10 years as a technician.
You will demonstrate proficiency of use for a variety of testing equipment and be familiar with electrical codes, as well as generic work permit and lockout procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities The primary focus of this position will be to perform skilled maintenance and repair work on a wide range of field electrical equipment, and to assist other technicians with troubleshooting field process problems, as well as the performance of more complex tasks. Specific duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Perform skilled maintenance and repair work on a wide range of field electrical equipment.
Assist other technicians with troubleshooting field process problems, as well as the performance of more complex tasks.
Provide general guidance and work direction to a group of electrical technicians generally in the range of two to four personnel.
Locate equipment or systems faults and operating irregularities through diagnostic tests, measurements and other analysis.
Determine nature of repairs or modifications to be made and replacement parts required.
Locate specification sheets and manufacturers' technical data, and review blueprints and electrical diagrams as necessary.
Perform necessary maintenance on assigned equipment and subsequently run operating tests to ensure satisfactory repair.
Perform high-skilled diagnostic and electrical tasks as required.
Prepare new or altered installations on all types of electrical equipment/systems, including electrical motors, appliances, control circuits and lighting systems, and subsequently run tests for acceptance.
