Job Description:

Performance Technologies, LLC (PTL), an affiliate of Chesapeake Energy, is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for our Canton, OH district. The Assistant Operations Manager will assist in the coordination of PTL pumping assets in the Canton, OH district. The role will be responsible for day to day operations of equipment and personnel ensuring that all necessary assets are in place. The role will be responsible for communicating with vendors in addition to internal employees the schedule of employees/crews. The Assistant Operations Manager will be on call 24/7 and assist employees with questions and issues that may occur on field locations in addition to the office environment. All duties will be performed in accordance with PTL EHS guidelines, ensuring that reporting employees are doing the same.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in the frac industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisor or management role in the frac industry.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of basic operation of rental equipment.
  • Experience providing information to supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person.
  • Able to work and communicate effectively through effective us of a personal computer including MS Office applications.
  • Able to learn company specific applications.


  • Vocational or Technical certification, Associates degree, or Bachelors degree.
