We are looking for a Director of Engineering who has led a team of technical engineers who have designed and engineered plant, pipeline, compressor, pump and metering facilities, who is interested in working in a laid back but professional environment, and who is interested in a long term career opportunity.

-This Director of Engineering will report directly to the President of and will be responsible for all the employees working in the DFW office.
-Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the office.
-Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development through coaching and periodically assessing their competencies.
-Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing office staff.
-Direct, review, and approve project design and changes
-Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, enforcing policies, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
-Prepare a yearly budget for office and stay within current budget.
-Make recommendations regarding budget revisions relative to additional projects ie; personnel and equipment needs.
-Submit recommendations for additions/reductions of staff as work load changes
-Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
-Oversee weekly timesheets and billable vs. non-billable hours. Make sure clients are being billed accurately.
-Communicate with the home office on problems, concerns, success, etc.
-Submit weekly project/cost reports to the home office
