Duties & Responsibilities
The Engineer/Analyst will support projects as necessary with FEA and structural analysis input to improve the structural design integrity.  Duties include performing finite element stress, strain, thermal and transient analysis on various mechanical and structural components and/or systems; developing simplified analytical and mathematical models of structures using relevant engineering computer software to simulate the performance of structures; correlating model results with experimental test data; using classical principles to analyze the design of components and checking design with standard codes; writing reports and making presentations.  Design work and other duties as required.

BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required.  Must have zero (0) to five (5) years related experience and/or training.  Background in Design/Structural/Solid Mechanics is required.  MS Word, Excel, Enovia, AutoCAD and SolidWorks required.  Must have excellent FEA Analysis skills and working knowledge of design codes API, DNV, AISC, etc. OrcaFlex skills a bonus.
