Senior Reservoir Engineer

A leading domestic energy company has an immediate requirement for a Sr. Reservoir Engineer in the Dallas, TX area facility.   Selected candidate will take primary responsibility for evaluating reserves and for formulating strategies to maximize recovery.

Responsibilities:
• SEC reserves reporting
• Maintain up to date reserve reports for client company and its partners
• Type curve analyses for developed and undeveloped drilling areas
• EUR, production, decline curve, and PUD location analysis
• Evaluate properties' potential for acquisition
• Assist in internal evaluations of assets for the purpose of management planning
• Provide historical and forecasted reserve information to be used in budgeting/hedging
• Work with members of production team (including Director of Production) to identify and fix production issues

Requirements:
• B.S. in Petroleum Engineering
• 8-15 years of experience
• Horizontal and vertical experience
• Strong personality with proven experience in leadership roles
• Ability to evaluate potential for development of assets
• Concrete understanding of economics and production principles
• Experience working with multi-discipline asset teams
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of reservoir engineering
• Database management and manipulation
• Strong experience in OGR
• Ability to plan and execute short-term and long term projects
